The last episode I saw Mike an Carl had a fight and they were on longer friends but then in the new episode Molly buys Mike a step counter he and Mike are back to being friends

Maybe I don't get it but can someone answer this for me?

Why do TV viewers let fictional characters , played by actors annoy you?

I'll admit, that Gianni on Everybody Loves Raymond wsas my least favorite character , but the actor played him so well, I couldn't help not liking him.

..but I never went on the E.L.R. board here on IMDb and posted about it.

Why so much hatred for people
that (except for the actor obviously) don't exist?

I think it's a bit silly.
