Rules of engagement ending

Did anybody else realize they had the exact same ending as Rules of engagement. Where they adopt a new born baby and then they get pregnant while at the hospital. Still great though. Another great show canceled too soon.

Yeah I hoped it wasn't going that route but when Molly was getting "sick" I knew that's where it was heading. It would've been funny if they decided they didn't want to adopt anymore lol.

That would have been delightfully edgy.

"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"

I know a couple who did that IRL.

The wife had severe medical issues-- basically her liver was attacking itself. As a result, her period was nonexistent for years. She recovered, but they figured she was infertile. The adoption was pretty much a done deal when they found out that she was about 8 months pregnant. They stopped the adoption since they were having one of their own.

For many of us it's not so wonderful. It's what happens on TV but not in real life. Makes me sad. Such a fairy tale but it's just TV. I thought it would be a more creative ending.

I noticed that. At the sence where Molly and Victoria were looking at the babies I told my dad that I bet that Molly is going to be pregnant.

I knew they wre going to do that. 

The minute I heard "let's adopt", I knew he'd also get her pregnant too.

A similar plot was done on Hot In Cleveland last June... but thankfully, because Joy
(Jane leeves) ws to old to conceive, her & new husband (way too easily) adopt a baby.

And if you have known anyone who has tried to adopt it takes YEARS, not weeks, to get a baby.

True but they knew the girl. I have 2 adopted cousins from both sides of my family and it did take a long time. Not years though. But even I know it can happen fast if you know the mother.
