Why does she have a New Jersey (/Italian) accent while Molly & Joyce didn't..?
Is she Vince's daughter or something?

I don't really care which accent it is, but she reminded me often like that thrash from Jersey Shore..
I'm no American so I don't really know where each type of American accent comes from..

Nevertheless, she had a different accent then her fictional sister/mother..

She sounds nothing like the Jersey Shore trash imo.

And btw those are not Italian accents. The Italian language is beautiful. NY and NJ accents are a variation of Dutch. Who settled in New York and the surrounding areas. You might call it a bastardization of Dutch.

Victoria to me almost sounds southern. Plus she sounds sweet. Snookie (or whatever her ridiculous name is) sounds like a bitchy, whiny, low class, brat.

I came here to ask the exact same thing. I have only seen the show a handful of times and wondered why she had a southern-sounding (to my ears) accent.

Katy Mixon is from Pensacola, Florida, hence her (sexy) southern twang. I don't do pot, but if it came with her, I'd certainly consider it.

My people skills are fine. It's my tolerance of morons that needs work.
