That's how I felt when Melissa Peterman lost all that weight when she was playing Barbara Jean on Reba.

Me and my wife both thought that about Barbara Jean as well. She just didn't look quite right (she wasn't built to be skinny?).

Is the appeal of the show that they're obese, and that since we have so many obese people in the country they can relate more?
shareI have to say that obese people are in every country, and this show depicts very lightly and nicely how overeaters get tempted into ruining every diet they go into, been there done that and I can relate even though not american. Now about Molly losing weight, for me Melissa McCarthy is the most adorable and pretty fatty I've ever seen. She can pull off being chubby, being more thin, whatever, cause she has an amazing face and those dimples :p
In the trivia part it says that she lost around 50 pounds or so, I think that translates to 25 kilos no? Well that's a lot of weight and it shows, I hope that's not the reason why they cancelled..her losing weight and not being able to keep going with the fatty jokes because of that, cause that's just stupid..The show starts with them struggling to lose weight and going to OA meetings often, its not a bad plot twist to actually showing some progress on that front..
She still has her out of control spending as a vice.
She's now a movie star. I like the character on the show though better than her film ones.
Yeah, I've always thought Melissa McCarthy was a beautiful woman regardless of her size. She's just so pretty with a beautiful smile, and dimples to die for. I also think that she dresses very nicely regardless of her size.
