I would rather pull my nails out

I loved this show so much. I actually just came here because I miss it so much. I can see how people would think it was slow moving, or something but I thought it was excellent. The strange thing is, my boyfriend at the time I started watching it, suggested it to me on a recommendation from one of his male friends whose wife got him into watching it. He ended up not even lasting an episode however, and I was hooked. I wish there was more. :)

You just think its dull or the entire premise doesn't interest you?

I liked the first season well enough, but rapidly lost interest after that, and I like period pieces.

It didn't have enough depth to hold my interest.

Do you dislike period pieces in general, Brit period pieces specifically, or was it just this show that was like torture to you?

To each their own. I love it.

Why? It is a great show, entertaining, well written, and with good performances. I really enjoyed the series.

I find it entertaining. It shines a light on circumstances and a time period we don’t often see.

I do agree it’s a bit like a soap. How many times can you use the ‘ol the person overhearing a conversation from around the corner bit.
