I miss the show, too....though I will say I have a curious lack of desire to rewatch it! It's on Amazon Prime streaming, and I never click it : (
I think part of it is the show spent so much time on Lady Mary, and I really didn't find her too engaging, whether she was being good or bad. She was a good contrast to the other sisters and of course a show needs conflict, but I just never got too wrapped up in her.

I hear you. I absolutely adored Lady Cybil. And of course Thomas. I only wish I was into Coronation Street when he was playing Liam. haha. Strangely enough the only time I "tried out" that show was when he was having a main story line about getting married. Wish I would have stuck around, but too much history for me on that show and its on too often. ;) Sorry to go on about him but I really, really like how they developed his character over the seasons. Lady Edith too did quite a bit of growing over the years, but not so much Lady Mary. She was about herself the whole time I think. As you said though, a show needs a good conflict. And that it was.
And sorry you were so lonely! haha
Not sure I'll re watch it either. Maybe if I had someone to watch it with that didn't see it before? Not sure. I know a lot of episodes made me cry my eyes out!

shareHello, only recently found my way to these revived IMDB boards. Looks like it will take time to build it back to the participant levels of the original boards. Most of those folks have flocked to other platforms. I always like this format the best.
