I don;t believe this at all. Lyonne's work has been sporadic and has mostly been getting bit parts in shows and is just beginning to scrape herself out of obscurity after her downward spiral. Her appearance was brief and not even necessary so I highly doubt that is correct.

The studio wanted the whole cast of the first film back. that gave the actors leverage. Eugene Levy got $3 million.

That just can't be true. Eugene Levy is an important part of the American Pie movies and I believe they pay whatever he demands but who the *beep* cares about that Jessica character. No way they paid her 500k for that.
