I watch h50 and NCIS LA for their chase scenes... Not their stories... Tonight's chase which seem to last 15 minutes, was EXCELLENT!!! .. This chase was Emmy award stuff..I really enjoyed it.. I saw a jumper before in a show but I do not remember what it was called.
It was great entertainment, but Grover needed a better line at the end, such as something to the effect of Chris Tucker's outtake in Rush Hour 2 (2001): He ain't gonna be in the next episode, or
We won't be seeing him on American Ninja Warrior (2009).

Not just an amazing chase scene, but a very clever way to pack in a whole lot of the sites of Hawaii as well. Real gorgeous locations and not your typical vantage points with the camera angles.
"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"
Haven't seen one that good since Casino Royale. And that was a multi-million dollar James Bond movie! ___________________________________ Never say never...
Thanks for putting a name on that spellbinding action..Parkour or Freerunning...Looked it up and I must have seen it in one of three films...From Wikipedia: In 2006 the film Casino Royale featured Sébastien Foucan in a chase taking place early in the movie, sparking renewed media interest in parkour. Along with The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Casino Royale is credited with starting a new wave of Parkour-inspired stunts in Western film and television. Parkour was prominent in Live Free or Die Hard (2007).
Sorry, I found it overdone..the chase scene. None of them showed any signs of being out of breath, and they scale buildings like a bird. The guy must be a stunt actor and chosen for that reason. Who ever heard of a serial killer doing that type of escape? BTW, getting back to the so called story...was it ever mentioned why he took out the victim's eyes?
OK, I was right, that it had to be some kind of stunt man to do that, but it still doesn't take away the fact that it was not your typical chase of any means, so it was a gesture for the director to get this guy to 'do his thing' for his show. Unfortunately, he won't be able to reproduce those chases again in the show.
I agree. I came on here to find out what the hell was up with that over-the-top chase scene - "Hi, I'm a serial killer. I like rainy nights, long walks on the beach, and parkour."
Chris Brown also did a little bit of Parkour in the movie Takers. It's been around for years but Lemkov said it hasn't been done like that for a TV series and he wanted to put it in the show before another TV series did it.
The guy killed a bunch of people, resisted in epic fashion, and still no shots were fired. If that guy were black, it would have ended in that room when the cops first came in. Yeah, I know it's TV, but it mirrors reality on some levels. White privilege is an amazing thing isn't it? *smh*
The Five O's are not those kinds of cops. They are not pulling over people for broken head lights or to issue traffic tickets and then shoot the drivers because they're Black. They couldn't care less about a Black man driving with no seatbelt on or his stalled car on the road.
By the way The Five O Task force has shot and killed plenty of White men. If you think about it most of the villains are White.
Oh and take your mind back to the episode where the Black man had kidnapped the wrong little White girl. It was the case when the man wanted revenge for a faulty car seat that killed his daughter. When he had the gun pointed on the mother and let her go Danny could have shot him because he was still holding the gun. But instead Danny talked the man into dropping the gun.Black man lived.
