You are a short, fat guy, Frank. get over it. The average American male is 5'10". I'm 5 inches over that. Airline and car seat manufacturers need to acknowledge that or I'm taking my hard earned US dollars elsewhere.

Sometimes I wish I was shorter, honestly I see 2 people taller then me a week.. so its wierd the other way around too. I bought a Porsche 944 turbo a couple years ago and my head was hitting the roof, so I traded it to my dad for something else. Great car though!!

You are being overly simplistic. Average heights are often expressed as a range. Average heights around the world range from 5'4" to 6' (for men). It's a spread where anything over 6' is above the average range and anything below 5'4" is below the average range.
So yes, he's on the low end of the range but he's not outside of the averages.
By the way: shorter men typically live longer.
