I'd probably show them my collection and refuse to sell them anything, in fact when they find a piece they like I'd destroy it in front of them with a sledgehammer. Then I'd go cut the tires on their van and pour sugar in the gas tank. After that I'd call the sheriff and charge them with trespassing.

Mike and Frank doesn't just randomly show up on anyone's property. The participant first have to sign a release form/agreement and I'm sure they're being told want to say, what items to show and then Mike and Frank pulls up pretending they're just strolling up to some random person's property.
I think people who wants to be on the show calls up and asked them to come over. If I had a sizable collection of junks and I wanted to get on the show, I would get into contact with the show producer or someone at their office and let them know what items of interests I have and if they agree to it, I agree to it, then I get to be on the show.
