Hey Frank! "Bundle" this!
What a putz. "Bundling" is just a way to confuse people into thinking that giving a higher dollar amount for two objects, as opposed to one, is more profitable for the seller. A con game. What a putz.

shareI wouldn't trust either one of these guys as far as I could throw them, but Frank's the worst. If the cameras weren't rolling, I bet he'd screw some old granny out of her family silver.
Instead of giving you $10 for this and $10 for that, an offer you won't take, I'll give you $15 for both. Handshakes are exchanged, everybody's friends again.
shareThis isn't that unusual of a concept. It's just like an online store saying "Hey, if you buy $50 worth of stuff, we'll throw in free shipping". It's saying "If I buy more stuff, will you give me a better deal?". I don't think there's anything malicious or dishonest about it.
shareThey do make mistakes, like Frank paying $20 for a common Vermont Maple can that most maple dealers used during the 70's and isn't unique, it's the standard one and there are literally piles of those...they are basically as common as aunt Jemima bottles.
They also went to Micky Gillies once and bought some stuff. Nobody collects that stuff and you can see it on Ebay not getting $2 bids. Micky is basically as good a conman as they are. His place burnt down, but all that merchandise and bar equipment survived..wink wink wink. Think Good Fellas.
But when frank bought the rare Zippo Counter Display with all the lighters in it, I noticed they avoided placing a value on that..because it was a lot...LOT more than he paid!

some zippos can be worth $1000's. There actually is a 14k gold zippo out there that was given to employees instead of watches. I've found several at garage sales!
Some rare advertising ones. But an entire counter display loaded with them from the 40's and kind of cool design? That's a pretty valuable thing and he just ohh well loaded it on the truck without placing a value on it..because it was a lot, and he'd gotten it cheap!
Didn't he pay $10 for a dead housefly in one episode?
shareYou have no idea what a con game is....
shareAgree. The "bundling" offers of this amateur collector are, at best, insulting. He needs to go back to picker/negotiating school.
shareHe doesn't just bundle, he creates "BUNDLE MANIA!!!!" Lol
shareLol...yes, you are right, Wes. I stand corrected! Forgot all about "Bundlemania". A few years back it was on like every episode with that crazy "Bundelmania"/psychedelic overlay on the screen. Ahh, the good times, eh?
shareHa! I was watching a block of shows and Frank came on and they did all the crazy graphics and special effects for Bundle Mania lol. Idk how old the show was.
