WTF?!? Seriously, HC?

It seems like every time I go to the History Channel, this show is on. I just checked and in the next 14 days it is on 82 times? Modern Marvels is only on 13 times. HC used to be so great. :(

If you put The (not about) History channel on at any given time now theres i'd say a 98% chance it will either be garbage pickers or pawn tards on for 6-7 hour blocks. Sad really whats happened to a once informative station but i guess this what the (dumb) people want.

Since new episodes are airing each Wednesday, it makes sense that History has several marathon scheduled because even the repeats pull in good numbers. The show is always finding new viewers, and- to be honest- the episodes stand up to repeat viewings. Just because something isn't to your personal liking, don't expect History to change their programming.

If you don't like the show, watch another channel. Or watch a DVD, read a book, go out and volunteer at a homeless shelter in your community, go hiking, do some yard work, go to a museum, take in an indie film somewhere, go to a restaurant you've never been to before... You taking my point?

This show at least in some way has a tie-in with history....as opposed to their other shows.

A lot of the picks they make are grounded in tangible objects of the past, so at least I give them credit for that. It's a push sometimes I know, but there is some history involved.

You've got to go through Hell before you get to Heaven.

Maybe they should call it the American Pickers and Pawn Stars channel.

I like the show, and it's something you can put on when nothing is on or when you have company over it's a good show to have on to create conversation and anyone can watch it. However, it is on ALOT lol. I remember when the HC used to be called the Nazi channel bc half their shows were about WW II and usually Germany it seemed. It's a phase and it must be getting good numbers. I am sure there will be another show soon they have on all the time. I don't mind that's it's currently AP, but I do agree it's on all the tIme.

This show has become tired and boring. The History Channel used to have interesting shows which were about actual history. The stuff that they show now is really low ball filler junk.

As absolutely annoying Mike is with loving the sound of his voice and I can tell you there's thousand of old guys that if you talked as much as he does they'd get real annoyed fast and throw you out of their house, this is HC's big money maker. Its cheap to produce and gets ratings.

I am ready to block this damn channel just because of this stinking show...it's on this channel, it's on the Discovery Channel, it's on a few channels....damn I would have to block a lot...
