Wasn't Reese Witherspoon Trying to be a Serious Actress?

What happened to that? I used to think she was pretty capable, but to do something like this doesn't make a lot of sense commercially or for credibility. The two men are just trying to keep a foot in the romantic comedy category, so that's understandable for two action stars.

I managed to sit through it this evening... pretty lame..of course with a laptop I can watch any movie..

anyway I would assume a forgettable movie like this is just a nice little paycheck for everyone.

I've taken jobs that I thought were beneath me for the money also. what's the big deal?

Reese has done pretty much everything... comedy, drama, etc...
