HORRIBLE ENDING! Seriously, I loved the film throughout, with all the jokes and the fun, it was very entertaining to watch but the first shock was when she pointed out Tom Hardy's character's britishness as a flaw and the fact that in the end she actually chose the american guy! I mean God forbid that any woman would choose the british guy over the 'american hero'!!

Somewhere in the middle I was honestly starting to wonder how this film could possibly end since in my eyes they were both equal to each other in terms of importance of their characters. I honestly thought that she can't possibly choose one of them and that the film would have an alternative surprising ending - either both or neither or something entirely else, I don't know. But when she chose the american I felt cheated - it felt like the british guy has turned out to be a secondary character all along!

So disappointed with the ending. And the film had the potential of being something unique!

Really? Ignoring their accents, it was obvious to me that Lauren would end up with FDR as soon as we were shown that Tuck had a young son with a pretty and amiable woman. Of course they would end up a happy family.

Exactly. Not only that, FDR was just the more handsome man. I think every woman was hoping she'd pick him. I know I was.

They have different facial structures but Tuck was a lot more warm and caring, and he was also actually ready to seriously date and settle down. FDR was only driven by competition not because he actually wanted someone.

As an American girl let me say this to you...
Oh BOO HOO HOO. After all the stuff you Brits say about Americans you can't take a damn joke in a movie??? You are seriously upset she chose FDR so you ran to the message board to CRY DISCRIMINATION!
WTF? What a Crybaby you are! Personally, I think you Brits are lucky you have roles in so many American movies when American actors are not getting the roles.
So go back to your BREXIT and cry discrimination or political correctness where someone wants to hear about it.
It's now October 21, 2016 and we have so much bull going on with that and your crying about a movie? DI'd you know OBAMA GAVE OUR INTERNET AWAY TO THE UN WITHOUT APPROVAL OF CONGRESS OR THE PEOPLE OF UNITED STATES...THE PEOPLE DON'T EVEN KNOW!! AND NOW THE NANNY STATE, LIBERALS WANT TO PUT AN EXTENSION. OV CRIMINAL OBAMA IN THE WHITE HOUSE. People can say whatever about Trump, but hrs never DONE anything bad. Hillary is a criminal and should be in jail with Obama.
So cry somewhere elsewhere.
