The Fruits of Heroics

For what it's worth, the movie wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either. A decent one or two time viewing flick.

However, one thing that bothers me, and it's not just this movie, is how the triumphant protagonists, or heroes, don't really stand for anything significant. They win at the end of the day and are filthy rich. It's all materialistic value. Lavish lifestyles, hot women, and expensive vehicles are what they glorify as their rewards. There just doesn't seem like there's much to take away from the movie other than envy and greed.

Someone made a comment calling these movies the Twilight saga for guys. I laughed at first, but after analyzing it some, I think they have a point lol.
