Actually really impressed with the stunt team

Okay, so the Fast movies are a guilty-pleasure, watch-if-there's-nothing-better-on type of film for me and I didn't expect much out of this one, other than a daft, throwaway action movie... which it was.

But it did remind me that there are still films crews out there in hollywoodland who actually put the effort into making good action scenes. The set pieces in this- though characteristically absurd- were miles better than anything I've seen in the latest Die Hards, Indiana Jones, Bourne Legacy and whatnot- use of CGI was kept to a minimum or blended almost seamlessly with actual destruction and stunt guys throwing themselves around. Great stuff. I'm hoping Fury Road keeps a similar standard of vehicular mayhem...
