Where did the money came from?

3 questions:

1 - Thierry spent long periods away from home, he was always available and all, and apparently didn't work... so how did he and his family survived?

2 - Also, where did Banksy get his money to have that big studio, vans, crew, etc...?

3 - And in the end, how did Thierry was able to build such an exposition, where clearly dozens of people worked on (plus the material, the warehouse, the machines, the printers, the televisions...) ?

I know he almost lost his house and everything, but it still doesn't feel right... I just guess the money had to come from someplace else.

Thank You

I don't know any facts about either Banksy or Thierry, so I'm going strictly by what I've seen in the film.

1. Thierry had a shop filled with overpriced clothes he would get very cheap, thus making a big profit. Sounds like a business venture his wife could run while he was away filming.

2. Banksy's been infamous/notorious before he met Thierry, had a spokesperson (he's interviewed in the film about Thierry) and everything. He made a lot of money via his art, thus he could fund himself. It's not like a small crew and a van cost millions of dollars. His stuff would later be sold so, it was a business.

3. I think we're meant to believe Thierry was pretty wealthy anyway, so with his money, his house and Banksy's help, he put it together.
