He is living proof that art is 100% hype, that guy made millions selling a bunch of garbage. I love how the other "artists" turned against him because he beat them at their own douche bag game...

You seem angry, but there is some truth to your point. He outsourced the creation of his art to other people, stole his "style" from Banksy and others, and cashed in huge. The scene in the film where he is rolling back and forth in a wheelchair just flinging paint at prints to create "original" works of art says everything about his ideas and methods.

Liquid Daedalus is on the right track. Thierry didn't create all that art. And if Banksy was REALLY as jealous of Thierry as he appeared, why would he make a movie which glorified Thierry?

C'mon, all the clues are there: "Exit Through the Gift Shop", "Mr. Brainwash". Consider the final scene in which an apparently solid brick wall is knocked down. Get the message! Don't be fooled by a hoax. That is the very point Bansky is making about art with this movie. So, don't be fooled.
