I gave this movie a 9. I never award 10s and this is probably the first 9. Great writing, brilliant acting from all involved, clever plot, funny and poignant at the same time and it quite amazingly made me feel empathy for the wife and girlfriend at the same time.
shareI really enjoyed this movie too. The dialogue was fantastic and Marcia is such a great actor. I am surprised with the low amount of votes on imdb having just over 500. Perhaps it is getting a late released in other countries. Well I hope that is why.

Yes, the third act gets a little messy. Some of the plot could have been edited. But the film is still fun as hell. MGH is amazing! Leonor Watling is excellent!

If they do, I hope they do it in Outer Mongolia. I get really annoyed by directors and producers who hope to improve on a classic by imposing their own ridiculous concepts. Yesterday I listened to Verdi's "Macbeth" from the Metropolitan Opera. I wish I had tuned in after the announcer said the production is set in a vaguely modern era, and that the witches would be dressed as housewives carrying shopping bags.
I loved it. Amazon reviewers seem to as well.
