Is anyone actually interested in Fiona playing the real estate game?

Its so fucking boring, theres nothing funny about it or interesting. Why the hell did the writers think this would be interesting to watch? Say what you want about Debbie, Lip or Ian's storylines, but i'll take theres any day over Fiona's dreadful boring shit.

I liked her character when she was the mom of the family and taking care of everyone, now that shes on her own and barely with her family anymore i could care less about her, especially now that shes in this boring storyline where shes buying property and hanging out with a boring Irish guy that has no personality.

Its like its time for her character to be written off but shes still on the show hanging around for some reason, like whats the point of her anymore? I don't care to see her living on her own ignoring her family and only having scenes with that boring Irish guy.

I’m interested, and I care. Fiona is moving up in the world, at last, which makes for a perfect conclusion to this nearly-exhausted series. My dream ending: Fiona closes, or is at least involved in, a massive property deal that sets her, and somehow her family, UP FOR LIFE, Frank becomes ecstatically excited by this development—so excited that he dies from a stroke (SO NEAR, BUT YET SO FAR—the irony that has passed for humor for a full decade on this series), the family collectively piss on his corpse, Fiona marries the stable Irish guy, and The End.

Not for nothing, Fiona’s still on the show because she’s the lead character. You doubt? Look at the poster for the season. Who’s the Gallagher in the lead? Fiona. Who’s a pace behind? Blank Frank. Macy drew the audience in 10 years ago. Rossum kept the audience.

May be good for her character but its boring as fuck to watch.

Completely disagree with you. I'm interested in what happens to the character, I think Irish man isn't boring at all, I think he's actually really smart and good for her.
What would you like to see Fiona do? Who would you like to see her with?

I actually heard this is her last season so maybe thats why the show is taking this direction with her character.
