Very good movie...deserved an Oscar

I saw this movie and saw how realistic it is...

An honest, hard-working man who never went to college is down-sized out of a job he's had for years - due to some technical rule at his company requiring a degree.

I love the movie because it shows good things can come from chaos. A decent guy's life gets turned upside down but he comes out better than the people who ridiculed him for not having a degree. In short, the guy (Larry) learned to land on his feet.

He goes back to college, makes a bunch of new friends (younger guys who teach him and he in return teaches them 'life' skills he learned from classes and the navy) and he finds love too.

Fantastic movie.

I also like how its really realistic. Unemployed man in his 50s gets taken in by hipster motor scooter gang, and they teach each other about life. Community college teacher with blogger husband who likes to look at big breasts on the internet during the day, and driving drunk at night. Its great! Careful with his cheesecake!

These sort of crazy things happen all the time in this crazy world! Love improvised by Larry Crowne!

Fantastic movie!
