Tom Hanks' hair and Julia as an intellectual
Have you noticed difference in Hanks' haire at the beginning of the film (and first half an hour) and later? At first it was obvious that his hair was dyed, very poorly, women's colour, some combination of chestnut brown and mahagony brown with elements of aubergine and red orange colour, and he looked like a fruit cake, like a middle aged housewife freshly come out from hairdresser for 30th anniversary of high school graduation.
Later, as I sadi, his colour became more natural, blackish with deliberate white hairs on the sides.
Hanks co-wrote the script for middle aged sissy, who - for being nice - get aworded with romance with fine woman, who, for her side, rejects her husband mail pig.
Predictable.
But it was again difficult to imagine Mrs. Roberts as an intellectual, that is a college tenure professor. She is good for nurses and pretty women not for such roles.
In any case, empty film, non-believable fairy tale, not believable even now in Christmass times.
