larry says he was planning to watch his kids grow up in that house (the one he vacates)--did they leave? did he lose them? his wife took 'em?

I don't think Larry had any children. I think he just meant that was 'the plan'...but things didn't go as planned. He planned to have kids...but he and his ex did not have any.

I really enjoyed this movie and saw it 3 times. I don't think Larry and his ex-wife had any kids.
