coming back?

I just saw an ad that said the site would be back October 2013. Is this true?

I read that she didn't think that it was coming back so she signed on to another show. I think it was called First time Wayans or something like that. Anyway her contract clearly states that she can't work on 2 shows that are on competing networks so she had to choose one and she chose the Wayans one that I have never heard of. Reagan Gomez Preston will be playing her cousin that is working at the realty place. I guess that means Neferttiti is probably out as well. I grew to like the show but I wish they had gotten rid of the flamboyant gays and actually the brother is not that funny to me. When he was missing from some episodes, it was refreshing to me. Everything else is good. I'll try it out and see how it goes.

"I just saw the ad, too, but I don't see Tatyana Ali. If she's not gonna be on or they replaced her, there's no point!"

^Yeah, I saw the commercial too and no Tatyana Ali and was like "WTF?" How are they gonna advertise the show and not feature its MAIN STAR?!!

I know that Tatyana Ali did play the role of the assistant on Second Generation Wayans, but that show is so pitiful, I cannot believe that she would have chosen that show over Love That Girl. I agree with some of the comments on this board about the poor writing, the gay guys being over the top, etc. All in all, it was a cute show and I could watch it when nothing else is on. I did like the Latrell character, even though he could be a little goofy sometimes. Immunique was over the top, but unfortunately I have seen girls like her right in my own city, so she is not that unrealistic.

It will be interesting to see how it works out this season. If I watch the first episode and Tatyana's absence is felt too greatly, I will be changing the channel quickly.

I watched the 2nd Generation Wayans for about 2 minutes and that was a waste of 2 minutes. The show wasn't that funny I wasn't sure if it was suppose to be a reality show or a TV show. Love That Girl isn't one of the best shows but I would rather watch this show than 2nd Generation Wayans.

I just got cable a couple of weeks ago and I'm able to see Centric and TV One I'm glad I get to see what this show is all about. At first I was looking for Tatiyana Ali and then I thought "is this the same show", but I guess she had left the show. Anyways, overall the show seem very corny but then I can't help but watching it because today there aren't that many black shows like there used to be in the 90s and 80s. If I'm not watching this TV show I'm watching my re-runs from the 70s, 80s', and 90s.

Tatiyana Ali bought in the ratings, and after she left this series it went downhill QUICK!!!

TV-ONE needs to cancel it right along with another stupid black sitcom that doesn't make any sense...RICKY SMILEY

Raysond, you got that right! O my goodness!!! Rickey Smiley's show is nothing but his standup routine (which has not changed in the 15 years or so that I have been familiar with him). TV One would do well to get rid of his show, but they will not because their nework is "…where Black life unfolds.." (Whatever that means…)

I took "Love That Girl" off of my dvr playlist after Tatyana Ali left. I mean, come on. The Immunique character is way, way, WAY too ghetto, the changed look of the apartment is a distraction, Nefertitti was a bigger part of the ensemble than I realized (I guess because she was the voice of reason, and now there is none), and who the devil is "Huggy"? I am not familiar with this actor, and cannot bear much of his ACT-ING….

I won't be watching anymore episodes of this show, for sure.

Thank you for your comments. It's amazing that "Love That Girl" hasn't been totally yanked off the air!!! "Love That Girl" along with "Ricky Smiley" are two of the worst black sitcoms on cable now.
