So whats in the basement?
Something super natural or not?
shareWho's to say?
shareDoorway to Hell perhaps.
shareThis movie is awesome! I highly recommend watching it without spoilers but if you want to know I posted it for you.
A deformed, mutant woman that wants a baby.
I'm not looking as I'd rather be surprised when I see it but I do have a question for you: Is it actually scary??
shareIt is, it has jump scares but the movie doesn't rely on them. It's really good and just creepy.
shareLooking forward to seeing it. Thanks!
shareIs it more creepy atmosphere and imagery or mostly jump scares?
shareIt has both. It's done very, very well. It has some gore too but nothing extreme.
shareBarbarian has it all: exceptionally creepy atmosphere, incredibly thick tension and suspense, and masterfully executed shocks and scares. This was the best horror film I've seen in years, and my personal favorite since The Autopsy of Jane Doe.
shareI concur. Lots of recent horror is forgettable, but this one sticks with you.
shareIt is genuinely scary, quite frankly, I thought it was the most frightening and unnerving horror film I've seen in years. It's even darkly funny in spots.
shareI think I'll make an exception and go see this in the movies instead of waiting for it come out on DVD or streaming. It sounds too good. Thanks very much for your input!
shareWhat’s in the basement…a SHARK or something?
sharenot.
shareDid you watch it? I mean it explained everything in intricate detail by the end, no room for ambiguity really.
