How famous of the PLL actresses right now?
B list, C list or D list? Who is the most famous?
I used to think Lucy was the most popular, but not anymore. Shay seems more "out there" now.
I would say upper C, maybe. I think Shay is only out there because she's parlaying the success of PLL into a business for herself. It's really smart. She's written a book, she's getting paid for that youtube channel because of endorsements. She has her own endorsements and because she looks the way she does, she's been on multiple magazine covers. She's hustling and I respect it.

Being honest, probably not that well known. If you were talking to the average person on the street and said 'yeah, it's got Troian Bellisario in it' or 'I think Ashley Benson is presenting.' 9 times out of 10 you will likely get a 'who?!'
Lucy Hale is the only famous one, I would say- or rather, well known.
I agree. Most of the cast members are not all that well known outside of their fanbases. Troian Bellisario might be getting there soon on par with Lucy Hale.

Truthfully when I started the show, I hadn't heard of any of them, except Lucy. I had seen Bryce Johnson (Wilden) in Popular and Bianca Lawson in Buffy and The Vampire Diaries but everyone else were complete unknowns to me.

shareAshley Benson was the only one I recognized of the liars, from Bring it On. Others were Holly Marie Combs from Charmed, Amanda Schull from Center Stage and later One Tree Hill and Torrey DeVitto from One Tree Hill. I've probably seen Lucy's name most after I learned who she was, though.
shareAshley was the only actress I recognized from that movie too before this show, and to the lesser extent Lucy Hale without knowing who she really was in some small roles.
