You know a character is irrelevant when most of the fans don't even remember her lol.
I don't think Jenna was creeped out by Sydney mimicking her clothes, Jenna and Sydney were still friends the last time we saw her (Christmas episode in season 5) and Jenna hasn't mentioned her since her return.

Just when you think a worthless stand-in character has forever disappeared down a black hole, bam! She's strolling through the Radley with a walking stick and jungle red lipstick!
I don't remember a time when the dressing alike thing was actually addressed by either of their characters. Just one of those fun little things that was thrown in and deserted, but apparently this is one mystery Marlene has decided to solve. My real question is if this twinning thing is intentional - and it seems like it is - then what was the point of pulling a similar stunt at the eye doctor of all places? I get the convenience of it in last night's episode, but what possibly could have been the point the first time? So weird.
Sydney comes from a long line of generic Jenna stand-ins. It's a legacy.
It's just so dumb. That's a good point about the eye doctor. I remember when we first found out that Sydney was dressing alike, I posted a theory on here that Sydney was Jenna's "double" used to trick A/whomever it was that kept trying to kill Jenna so Jenna could have some sort of protection. However if that's the case then having them both be together dressed up wouldn't make sense (like at the doctor) and that just gives it away to A about what they were doing. So there has to be some other reason this was occurring.
