The Halloween episode is Tuesday night guys. I posted a link with the details. It seems like scream meets the Halloween episode of Dawson's Creek. I'm hoping we get a season 3.

Scream was renewed for a 6 episode 3d season.
sharethank god, i just googled to confirm. with six episodes it is undoubtedly going to be its final season, but at least they have a real chance to wrap it all up. the halloween special looks fun but not enough to tell a complete story, especially with this switch it up idea on the island.

Yes i havent watched season 2 yet i got much series on my plate therea just not time for everything hopefully i will have time before the year runs out.
shareThey did not say that it will be the final season. They could've easily said Scream renewed for third and final season. The fact that it was renewed showed that they belive in the show when it was so near cancellation. Plus it can be 6 episodes with no fillers! If the format works the series will undoubtedly continue. So happy that it got renewed. Scream Season 3 has been trending a lot on Twitter with 50000 tweets ever since the announcement!
sharewithout syndication reasons, its pretty rare for a show to cut its episode count in half but still intend to continue it after that. Generally its a cheap way to let the show wrap up without investing in a full season. not saying theres definitely not a season 4 incoming, but its pretty rare for a show to get this kind of episode cut, especially when the show already has such short seasons.
