Better Halloween special? PLL Season 2 or Season 3

Season 3. I thought "The First Secret" was boring.

The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters.

Three was better. That said if the show would have written a better story and had Ali and Noel as the Uber pair in the end, it would have been great foreshadowing.

"This Is A Dark Ride" is better but I watch '"The First Secret" more.

I really enjoy them both, but "This is a Dark Ride" is one of my favorite episodes, and one of the only ones that really had me on the edge of my seat.

Season 2. Better idea, atmosphere, scares, format, etc.

I like The First Secret more. I found This Is A Dark Ride to be kind of boring minus the Aria-in-a-box parts. Plus prequels are always awesome!

Both of episodes were kinda eh until the end. I wished they'd do another Halloween episode before the show ends but whatevs.

Peace, Love, and Soul 

I prefer the first secret because it has the same nostalgic vibe that season 1 and 2 were known for, that idea of childhood, slowly waning away.
