LOVED the Bates Motel theme Season 2 Finale!!!
sharejust to clarify it was a Psycho reference, not bates motel. that didn't come out til after heason 2 finale.
MArlene king is an alfred hitchcock fan, and while the references were nice, they were kind of used so that they wouldnt have to a ctually fill time up with answers, cuz with Mona's reveal we didn't get any answers.
marlene king has a habit of ruining finales by modeling them after hitchcock films (an interesting combo for sure, but they distract from the point of the story). she eventually drops the references and just ruins the finales on her own.
