Haha, that was my thought exactly to be honest. I hate that this show glorified toxic relationships.
The only ship I'm not convinced about is Emison which I hate. To each their own, but I don't get why people like/ship them. They have no chemistry at all. I also heard that Lindsey Shaw will be in the last season so I was wondering if they'd put Paily back together. The only ships that make sense to me are Haleb & Paily.

I can't get into Emily/Alison, I do NOT see any "sparks" b/w them as a romantic couple. It all seems so forced in my opinion. I also think Emily deserves someone better, I like Alison but she's not right for Emily. I also don't think Alison is 100 percent gay like Emily, Alison is very into men as well and Emily is completely gay. So Emily/Alison doesn't work for me.
We don't know what will happen w/Toby - does he actually die? I haven't been on the boards and last time I was I asked this question about Toby, is it confirmed Keegan will not be back? I loved Spencer/Toby, and that very last scene before he left town and Spencer/Toby were talking you could still see the love in their eyes for each other, and deep down how much they still were in love w/each other. He was really building the house for Spencer. PLEASE DON'T LET TOBY DIE!! OMG this will be so heartbreaking for Spencer and it will not be fair that everyone gets their happy ending but Spencer is left grieving over Toby's death- I loved Toby/Spencer together. My favorite couple is Hanna/Caleb then Spencer/Toby!!
*** I DON'T MIND SPOILERS SO IF ANYBODY HAS SOME ABOUT TOBY AND/OR ABOUT WHO THE REAL UBER A PERSON IS PLEASE SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE. AGAIN I LIKE SPOILERS TO PREPARE MYSELF FOR SAD AND SHOCKING SCENES. I'VE ALWAYS TRIED TO STOP BEING LIKE THAT BUT I CAN'T HELP IT I GOTTA KNOW. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
I mean, bisexuality is a very real thing. Just because Alison likes men as well doesn't mean she can't also have feelings for Emily. I'm not a fan of Emison because I think Ali is extremely manipulative and selfish, and only shows affection for Emily when it's convenient for her. Emily deserves someone who is going to put her first all of the time, not just when she's needed for comfort.
As for Toby (spoilers ahead), we really don't know, but Keegan Allen was seen on set quite a bit in the latter half of filming for 7B. So it doesn't look likely that he's going to die. I think that Spoby has the lowest chance of being endgame, though. Personally I'm glad - I've disliked them as a couple ever since Toby joined the A team, betrayed Spencer, and landed her in a mental institution, but that's just me. ;) No one knows for sure what's going to happen. We'll just have to wait and see.
I just feel it. Marlene did say one of the OGs wouldn't be endgame and knowing my luck it will be the one and only couple I really love in this show. 6B was absolute torture for Haleb and Spoby fans but whereas Haleb fans got their wish by the 7A finale, Spoby fans were shafted.
I hope not. Emison = Alison just loves that Emily loves her. It's a one way relationship. Ezria = why not, but they were ruined so much throught the series, that I wish Aria ends up alone, and Ezra leaves. Haleb = OMG! A guy that dumps you to be with another, and wants you back, after his new life didn't work out as planned? You've got to be kidding me. I hope they won't be endgame AT ALL. All the more so, after the time jump, when Hannah wanted Caleb back, ONLY after he was moving on with one of her "best friends". Two selfish people together, is a disaster in the making. And I will feel insulted, the writers thought I would be dumb enough to buy this. No thanks. Spoby = boring. Sorry, but they never could commited to one another. And just aren't working outside of an "youthful error" kind of thing. Time to grow up. Personally, I hope the writers will have other dilemnas than who ends up with who, in the series finale's script.
I agree that pretty much every pairing on the show are bad and that they'd (at least in real life) be happier if they all moved on and found somebody new, but we know that that's not gonna happen.
I would absolutely love it if the writers spent at least half of the time on the actual mystery rather than on the romances. But unfortunately, season 7 is the season of romance, as the writers stated about a year ago.
