Did Marlene's bad writing ruin Sara Harvey's potential?
Who else thinks Sara Harvey had a lot of potential as a character and had a good concept but was horribly written and butchered by Marlene's hack writing?

shareThe character definitely had potential. But the butchering was probably pretty evenly split between the terrible writing and the fact that Dre Davis can't act to save her life.
The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters.
Agreed. The role called for someone more talented as an actress. I think Tammin would've been perfect for the part but the writing as you said was equally bad. I'm still flabbergasted by the scene between Jenna and Shower: Are you a sour girl? I just couldn't believe that actually happened. Her character was yet another built up villain that amounted to nothing. They also promised to go into her motives and backstory in season 6 but we didn't learn anything. I seriously wanted someone to steal all of her gloves too. They would've done better hiring an actual mannequin to play her part.
"When life gives you lemons"
Jessica D: sleep with their fathers and have secret lemon childrenĀ
kinda. i think she had potential as just being a damaged feral girl. there was a fake spoiler leak that said Sara harvey runs away and the girls find her back in the dollhouse, sleeping in her bed there, and that Emily would realize that Sara is too damaged for her to fix, and that she was only into her because she wanted to take care of her.
despite Dre's awful acting she pulled off the meek little pale stockholme thing pretty well. or rather, well enough for this show.
her turning out to be working for -A was a rather unceremonious twist. it lacked depth. at this point any new character that was introduced was done so with the sole intention of being evil or being a romantic subplot. every single person they met that seemed to be even remotely friendly ended up being against them in some way.
that stupid girl on emily's swim team, and that stupid girl who knew Mona, all just *beep* who come in to make waves for no reason. so the fact that Shower also turned out to be evil was pretty dull. on top of that, her motive was entirely non existent. say what you will about revealing it at a later date, but its already been 20 episodes since she was revealed to be evil and we dont really know why other than 'stockholme'. then they just killed her off. its the least interesting thing you can do with a character. and on top of that Dre can't pull off someoen this complex.

>dollhouse burning down with her inside of it
i laughed at the idea of shower going back all crazy and then the whole thing catches fire, but after a moment of percalation it also would have been a great way to close out her character instead of the crazy *beep* they've done this year.

Sara: are you a sour lemon?
I hoped that Charlotte kidnapped Sara after failing to get Ali and because someone wanted to kill Sara too that night

YES! I started a fiction (which I've never done before) about how she met and knew Charlotte and now I want to continue!
shareA combo of bad writing and horric "acting" from Dre Davis. Her acting prowess is almost on the same level of any cast member in Tommy Wiseau's "The Room." Dreadful Dre would be a fitting name for her.
share>dreadful Dre
if shower wasn't already such an amazing nickname i think id spam the board with that.
