shareit depends on your taste in other shows really. people who watch this show tend to have a history of enjoying some form of teenage television.
the first two seasons are great. its generally agreed that after that it begins to decline. opinions vary but season 3 is at the very least 'okay' and from the season 3 finale onward its kinda a *beep* show for me at least.
most people are highly disappointed with the reveal for the villain as even if you wanted that particular character to be the bad guy, their back story and motives fall somewhere between inconsistent and damn near impossible, there are a lot of timeline issues.

I did finish the pilot but don't think I'm going to watch a lot more of it...I just find the characters utterly ridiculous! The supposedly "teenage girls" look much older and their mothers on the other hand WAYYY too young - and they all look so very fake!!!
As far as history of liking teenage shows - yeah, that's not me :-(
thats fair enough. considering season 2s finale leaves a lot hanging i generally recommend /not/ getting into the show unless you're specifically a fan of bad television.

Really? I disagree!! They also all look like they've fallen into a vat of make-up. I'm sorry, it's just not realistic - no one looks like that in real life! One of the reasons I LOVE British shows so much - they are real, relatable people!!

Not a lot of make-up??? Oh man, sorry, but their faces are plastered with the stuff!! I'm not saying they're not attractive underneath - I"m sure they are, but that's another unrealistic thing about US shows...have you ever gone out and looked at the general population????

she just said that tv shows have an unrealistic amount of ridiculously attractive people. and to be fair certain actresses like lucy are caked in make up. no reason to be upset about someone elses opinions like that.
