Why is this exciting? Unless Marlene wants to cater to fanservice and make Wren the big bad which would of course ruin the story even more as it literally makes 0 sense. He'll probably just be back like Melissa was, act shady for an episode and then leave again (Just like Melissa??)

Just because a lot of fans want Wren to he A doesn't mean it's fan service when there are several clues and plot points to his character that have never been answered.

I think it's totally fan service if they bring him back and make him Uber A... though Marlene will be like "duh guys I planned this from the start even though I said he's not sketchy. Har har gotcha!"

I just don't see that as fanservice. Spencer and Caleb getting together was fanservice because it came out of nowhere and was because some fans loved them together. Fanservice would be having Aria as A since that has been a very long running theory. There's a lot of fans behind the idea of Wren being A and yes maybe Marlene would've gotten that idea from the fans and this ensures that a lot of them would be pleased. However, since when has Marlene cared about pleasing the fans? If she wanted to do that then she would kill off Ezra and gotten rid of Sara Harvey as soon as she was introduced.

I guess I disagree. This whole show is a fan service. The majority of fans (not those here) love Ezria, Haleb, Emison, and Spoby. Marlene has never done anything shocking to upset fans and if she does she backpedals. Lol

I wouldn't say all of that lol. I think the most vocal fans, like on Twitter, might majorly love Emison but I doubt that the majority of them do. Plus she brought back Paige and it seems like she will be on here for the rest of the series and also there's rumors about Toby being the one who dies and that would really upset certain fanbases.

Wren makes as much sense as anyone else they could shoehorn into the role. They've been phoning it in for a long time now and 6x10 was an absolute disaster, so how could Wren make anything worse?? At least he has a natural tie-in to CeCe's story.

Exactly. Wren is one of the few returning characters that actually makes sense compared to pointless ones like Sydney and, unfortunately, Jenna.

I'm glad to see Wren is making a return because I've always enjoyed his character and feel like he's had more significance over the years than some of the other people who are coming back. I just don't want him to be Uber A.

I agree. I love seeing Noel and Jebba return but it seems more and more that they really aren't going to have much purpose. With Wren, it's a bigger deal because his character hasn't been seen since season 4 and there are still a lot of things that have never even been brought up or explained on the show. I'll be happy if he's Uber A and also if he's not. I just want them to explain his connections and what all he did for Mona and Charlotte.

Yes they were together apparently for a while in London but Wren broke up with Melissa after he found out that she killed Bethany. That's what Melissa/Hanna said anyways when Hanna was telling Spencer about how she ran into Melissa a few years back.

Omg, so did I! It better be Wren and not some dumb mask lol. The fans would be LIVID. I was curious about why Rollins faked his accent. The only explanation would be that he did that to throw people off about who he really was. Or maybe the identity of the person he stole was American so that's why he did it so it would make sense about where he was born and etc.

The promo Pic of Wren he's wearing a doctor's badge so maybe he's a part of the Wilby or where ever Ali went and was keeping an I on the on goings of Rollins and Mary Drake from a far so he could do his -A.D. stuff behind the scene and that's how he knew they were out there that night because he followed them out of the place since he had access the whole time? I guess time will see!! Even though IMK said she doesn't know how we think Wren had anything creepy about him... I think that's was just a lie like always.

Or maybe he's the one that dies. I see it now *Bullet flying at Spencer at a high rate of speed* *Wren jumps in front screaming NOOOOO I LOVE YOU (and Melissa and hanna under his breath)* But since he's English his passport was in his front pocket and saves him bc in dream logic they're bullet proof. -end scene-

That makes sense about him possibly working at Wilby. Maybe Wren broke up with Melissa so he could sneak away to Rosewood without her wondering where he is. Plus, Wren is known for always showing up where drama is at (Radley, Rosewood memorial, etc).

There's nothing wrong with being excited about a beloved character coming back. I was so excited that Noel was coming back. I didn't care why. I wish they did more with him though.

Exactly! I wish they would've done more with Noel as well. They never explained why he helped Charlotte or suddenly became evil. They never even stated if his secret that Hanna found out in a dream was real or not. When she mentioned it around Ali though she didn't deny it so I guess it was true.
