All Good Things (shows) Must End

I'm starting to get legitimately sad that so much good television is coming to an end.

Bates motel is entering its final season and i cant stop looking at all the old teasers and its making me feel sad.

orphan blacks coming to an end too and i feel like there could be more to explore in that story.

PLL sucks, sure, but it has a special place in my heart too.

how to get away with murder isn't definitively ending but a lot of the show will die with wes and between the ratings and this feeling very much like a 'final arc' it might as well.

It never goes away. Parks and Rec ended like 2 years ago and I STILL hope that they'll announce a new season. Lol

It's better for shows to burn out than fade away though. Grey's Anatomy used to be like a drug to me. I would save watching the episodes until I could get a friend with me to do so and we'd go all dramatic over every single thing in it ("Giiiirl!" "No she didn't!"). Now the show just seems to go through the motions. I watch it with one eye while doing something else. It should have just ended ages ago and lived on as a prime example of quality soap opera television.
With some of those shows, such as Orphan Black, I'm glad that they're deciding to end it now while it's still on a high note and now having to watch it wither away as the storylines get stretched thin.

i understand, thats usually my approach to shows, but its been awhile since I've had this many good shows on the air at once. honestly i dont think ive EVER had this many godo shows on the air at once. and now tehy are all ending within moments of each other.

i definitely agree about orphan black. i think it has potential to go further but i think the big issue its had all along was that they weren't sure how many seasons they were going to have. each season has been great, but they've all been so disconnected its hard to follow the new seasons without a marathon of all thats happened before. bates motel had this issue with season 2, where theyj ust added in a bunch of random stuff becuase they werent show just how long they have to stretch this out for. they dont want to release too much too soon, but are also afraid of it being too far off.

if orphan black went into it knowing 5 seasons i think they would have been a little more organized with all these connections.

Well Marlene is already planning a PLL revival (what a surprise there lol).. We will have to wait 5-10 years though.

I just looked at your pic and realized it's Arnold in the locket 😍 I can already picture Helga punching Brainy in the face. lol Marlene is already pumped for a revival of a show she didn't want to end. I wonder what it will be like watching a revival of PLL....
