These two were some of the worst detectives in the horror genre but who was worse?

Maybe it's because I enjoy to play the devils advocate, but I honestly understand Tanner. Sure, she was (is) very smug and annoying, but it's not wrong of her to distrust the liars and believe that they are guilty. They're always lying and around trouble, and since the liars have always been stonewalling her, she can't be expected to know everything the liars are going through like we, the viewers, do. If I was a detective and didn't know what was happening to them, you bet that I would be extremely suspicious of them as well.
I can't really compare her to Brock since I don't remember much about him since I never rewatched season 1 of Scream.
I've got nothing against God, it's his fanclub I can't stand
