OT: My "Pretty Little Liars" suggestions

What suggestions for my version of Pretty Little Liars would you like to suggest?

I'm gonna add a lot of dark elements from the books. Caleb, Paige, Ezra will not be in this series.

It'll also be more evil and cruel.

These are the main changes

-Caleb will not exist in my series, nor will Ms. Grundwald and Ravenswood
-irrelevant characters like Talia, Johnny etc. will not exist
-The Liars will be darker and Flashback Alison will be meaner
-Aria and Ezra will break up after "A" sends Ezra a text through Aria's phone and Ezra finds it. They never speak to each other ever again and Ezra leaves Rosewood.
-Mona will have more screen time as Hanna's BFF
-Toby will die in the fourth episode
-The "pilot episode" will be a prequel of the series it'll be a prequel of what happened "That Night" and the day & night leading up to it similar to the episode "The First Secret"
-Melissa Hastings will have a bigger plot in the series
-Sara Harvey will also not exist
-Charlotte DiLaurentis will exist but she'll be a completely different character.
-The Liars will remain single for awhile and won't start dating or having boyfriends till Season 3A
-Emison will not exist, Emily will be gay but Alison won't and Emily will not have a crush on her or feelings for her.
-Maya will not be killed by Lyndon nor will she be killed
-Peter Hastings will not be in my series he was killed in a car accident the same night as Alison DiLaurentis went missing.

like i said before, the most important thing to me is arcs. right now you're mostly telling what what WONT happen and you've also spoiled hte biggest reveals so tehre isn't much to keep us tantilized other than potential character growth.

as far as what wont happen and who wont be there, its neither exciting or unexciting to me. without the current show as it exists holding you back, those characters are meaningless until you give them meaning.

characters that were once loved in the show could be hated by your potrayal, and characters we hated can be really fun and exciting based on how you portray them.

if i were you id stop worrying about what peoples thoughts on little details were and just tell the story you want to tell. try your best to make it a good mystery, but dont let that come at the expense of good story telling as a whole.

i look forward to reaidng when its out

I have to agree with bobcat on this. Just go with what you want to write and don't reveal too much. One of the show's biggest issues is trying to appease fans so it lacks any true plot most of the time. Don't concern yourself with whether or not it'll make people happy but just make it interesting.
