Show wise, Keegan is a truly bad actor with a face I never thought would be seen as passable in Hollywood. Shay is a bad actress with a very pretty face but she seems very simple and boring. I've never seen Fifty Shades of Gray so I cannot comment on the similarities.
Emily in the first two seasons was better. Shay's acting was still bad but Emily had this nice genuine naivete that worked but then they dropped that so Shay could pose more. Of course, all the characters were more tolerable in the first two seasons...
