OT: Is Twin Peaks worth watching?

I started it last year but it didn't keep my interest. I have an Amazon Prime membership so it's on my watchlist. Has anyone seen this show and would recommend it? I want to watch a good mystery show with answers and I heard the second season is pretty painful.

its only two seasons so its an easy investment. a lot of people seem to REALLY like it, though from what I get its kind of a 'vibe' that oyu get attached to more than anything. im not sure how to describe it beyond that but people tend to think of it the same way i think of shows like once upon a itme or FLCL. its kind of 'comfy' to them.

i started watching it but couldnt keep focused during the pilot so turned away, though with the reboot coming i am a bit curious.

i had the twist spoiled for me. apparently season 2 starts good then gets bad or something, like they try to keep the show going after the main mystery is solved and thats always awkward.

Yes it's a quality show. All these tv shows like pretty little liars ,the killing have been influenced by twin peaks

Im glad you asked because I too was wondering. It was on when I was a kid and my parents were obsessed with it. And now with the reboot im tempted to marathon it. For some reason i thought it was like 6 seasons and would be a pain to get through but 2 seasons seems doable just to say you did it if anything else.

It's one of my favorite shows. It's weird at times, but oh so good. You get invested in the characters too. It gets kind of ridic toward the end, but I still want more...yay for it coming back!

Definitely worth watching - there are only like 30 episodes so it's not too long. It was a huge influence on shows like PLL and television dramas in general.

Yes, there are some bad episodes in season 2, maybe three or four but the finale is mind blowing but very beyond weird. It's starting a new series on May 21st and it's carrying on the story 25 years later. I think it's gonna be huge. It's starring tons of actors including Amanda Seyfried, Micheal Cera, Naomi Watts, Laura Dern, Robert Knepper and lots of the original cast.

75% YES and 25% NO.It's like a wild acid trip and I cannot for the life of me wrap my head around it. It certainly leaves a vague haunting in the brain years after you've watched it.
