Is PLL literally the worst show of all time?

I honestly cannot think of a show worse than PLL. I have watched some "fluffy" shows in my lifetime that lacked substance, but I don't think I have ever watched a show that was so full of plotholes almost immediately.

I used to watch Desperate Housewives, and that one got kind of ridiculous, but it wasn't nearly as bad as PLL.

When I think of some of the more recent shows I've watched, Breaking Bad and Sherlock as two examples, PLL doesn't even come close.

Has anyone seen a show that's worse? And I mean written shows. You could argue that reality tv is worse, but those don't have to follow a logical plot.

Gossip Girl is much worse. There are a lot of bad tv shows out there at least PLL has a couple good seasons. Some shows never really find their footing. Charmed and Desperate Housewives really crumbled in front of my eyes. Charmed was so good in the beginning, stumbled in season 4, and then sank like a ship. DH was good until season 4 but the time jump showed the major cracks in the writing.

The only great seasons of DH are 1 and 3, in my opinion. 2 was meh, 4 wasn't bad and then basically everything after the time jump was crap.

I think in season 8 it redeemed itself a little, but not back to what it was.

Oh no way. There are worse shows. The Secret Life of the American Teenager for one.

I seriously blocked this show from my memory. I remember being curious about the ending because I stopped watching maybe mid season 3 before everyone on the show got pregnant and married. I read the details on the wiki page, closed the laptop and just cleansed my mind.

Omg it's so bad. I watched every episode as it aired AND about 6 months ago I guess I was feeling masochistic because I binged all 5 seasons. It is TERRIBLE. The writing, the plots, the acting, everything. If you told me that Shailene would be an Oscar contender back when it first aired I would have laughed in your face. And yes the ending sucks. Brenda was bitter about her show being cancelled so she screwed up the show even more in retaliation. Also she did an interview about where the characters are now and it is equally "WTF" ish. It makes PLL look like Game of Thrones. Or Breaking Bad. Or some other critically acclaimed show.

I felt the same way about Shailene when I found out about her acclaim. The show is written so poorly that nothing could save it at all. I have to watch this interview about where the characters are now. I still can't believe that I watched her show 7th Heaven growing up.

As for 7th Heaven, that show was always SO over the top and now knowing what we do about Stephen Collins it's all mega hypocritical. Although I did get a kick out of the fact that Brenda brought a bunch of 7th Heaven characters over to Secret Life.

That was quite the read lol. None of that makes any sense at all. She definitely loves everything wrapped up in a little bow and she completely misses that having kids in high school doesn't make life super easy and fun. Half of them would be exhausted beyond belief and Ricky working in the butcher shop? Lol sure.

Ah, I have heard of that one and GG but I've never seen either.

I guess I should say that PLL is the worst show that *I* have ever seen.

Don't get me wrong, I know nothing about you, but it's kinda pathetic the call a show you're obviously obsessed with (given your post history) the worst show ever.

PLL is so much more than some plotholes. It means so much to so many people around the world. That alone makes it a good show.

No...I can't agree. Just because people like it doesn't mean it's good.

I post a lot because I'm bored, mostly. I don't watch TV except for PLL so I want it to hurry up and conclude.

i think its easy for some people to label it that way because at one point it was so good, but those two good seasons kind of make it hard for it to really be the worst of all time, and even after then there are sprinkles of good. it doesn't save teh show by any means, as a whole the show is awful.

a show like 'under the dome' that maybe had 6 episodes before it flew off the deep end is far worse. i think PLL has one of the worst falls from grace ever for sure. the gap in quality between season 2 and 4 is so amazing its hardly believable

what makes people want to say that this is the msot horrible show of all time is how much potential it had and how much it was ruined.

so i guess you could say its the most wasted or most ruined show of all time.
