unfortunately the basic freeforums layout isn't conducive to something as broad as imdb. i imagine a lot of these will pop up but until someone takes the time to do some coding that will allow for the easy adding of individual boards they're gonna flop

True. I'm not sure how long those forums are going to last myself.
And then there will always be other suggested alternatives popping around like facebook, reddit, tumblr, and other sub-pages for movies and shows. But its not really the same thing.

You should also petition on their Facebook, Twitter, other social media sites and could also start a new petition with a different website as well just to make sure they get it.

I've already knew of this other petition as well that is getting closer to reaching 5000 signatures. But they probably won't do much.
