Lol she would think a valid criticism is absurd. She could've at least made the comment about the show being fictional and that she doesn't support such relationships in her real life or some bs like most writers would toss to fans on social media. She ignores that the book storyline made his behavior predatory without question. People would debate his actions countless times pre season 4B but after writing the book about Alison, approaching Aria knowing that she was a teenager, etc it's impossible to deny that he's a predator. Someone should ask her why she chooses to write the loss of virginity as an action that has to lead to a betrayal with the potential to destroy the main characters. It's one thing to uplift a villain but have characters react to them accordingly but she just refuses to accept that their actions are wrong so every character is written to just accept it.
