A long time ago. He's arrogant and doesn't follow directions. He's been accused of "phoning things in@ and shows no enthusiasm or desire to stay.

I agree. I'd have sent him home instead of Jetta. At least she was learning, even if she was scatterbrained. Daniel strikes me as almost unteachable, much like Lance from a couple of seasons back, who wouldn't take notes and fancied himself a creative gourmet cook.

If I were Anne, I'd be concerned about having Daniel represent me in the finale as he's likely not to follow instructions and would probably try to take damaging shortcuts.
