This movie has incredible scenes amazing acting from both Jaquin Phoenix and Philips Seymour Hoff but the movie is horrible and incoherent with no real aim. What a shame.

Agree to disagree. PTA is only getting better. His later movies have such a strong infectious mood. I love this film, but it took me a few watches to get it. I'd certainly recommend doing that. It's we'll worthwhile.
shareYou couldn't be further from the truth. He has now made his 3 best films, Back to Back to Back. He's maturing. Learning more about emotion instead of relying on style. He's brought us the Best Character Studies of the last 10 years and I see no sign of him letting up. He's the Pioneer. The Best at what he does.
shareHis movies are becoming denser and denser. I like this, he's kinda unique in this aspect right now. But I fear for him, his next movie NEEDS to make money, or that'll be strike three.
