The most cerebral and satisfying espionage thriller


Kim Philby was probably the most intelligent double agent in England during WWII and the early part of the Cold War. The British Establishment snobbery aside, it wa s the period in tine when the Brits couldn’t decide whether Russia was a brother in arms in the common fight against Hitler. Philby joined communism in his fight against fascism. But we never know whether Philby had been turned by Elliot before Philby defected to Russia. What do you people think about it.
