Wow (some spoilerish thoughts)

It surprises me how much dislike this movie gets. I actually loved it.

I do feel it was more Bea's story then Kelly's though. I mean, they not only open and close with him but he pretty much carries the entire movie. I hear Leighton's accent was supposed to be bad, now I'm neither southern nor American so I couldn't tell a real one from a fake one if it'd hit me in the head but I wasn't bothered by the way she talked.

I think Gwynneth did a good job at portraying Kelly with her desperation and fears and such. Tim was very believable as the seemingly supporting but pushy and famewhorish husband. Leighton Meester was absolutely adorable in my opinion and Garrett.... he store every scene he was in imo. I loved Beau.

I thought Kelly's ending was pretty surprising and I love that where the husband had no clue it was Beau who knew what was going on and that he immediately decided to quite trying to become famous.

So even though critics don't think it oscar worthy I do feel that the rating of IMDB is on the low side, it deserves a higher grade (but IMDB grading isn't reliable)

So for the people wondering whether or not to watch this movie, do. Go watch it, it might not blow you out of your shoes but it's a pleasant watch and you won't regret it (provided you were slightly interested to begin with)

Don't discard a movie on basis of what other people think, you might miss a gem.
