The characters in the movie do not behave like real people

None of the characters has been written with any motivation or back story (with any believable depth) at all.

I'd call this piece of s#!% (it doesn't have the investment of heart, soul & talent to qualify as dreck) "aggressively mediocre". I guess this is the type of crap they have on a cable station like Oxygen, eh?

You had a back story of each of the four main characters, and each of the four had motivation. Beau wanted to stay small time but his concern for Kelly motivated him to join the troop. James wanted fame and fortune through promoting Kelly, in spite of her reluctance. Kelly was motivated by her desire for James' love, and Gilles initially wanted the big time and to follow in Kelly's footsteps as a country star.

I'm the kind of guy, when I move - watch my smoke. But I'm gonna need some good clothes though.
