I liked the movie but the two female leads couldnt carry the movie or really sell the songs. I would have preferred to have seen actual country singers cast since the songs were quite good and deserved better performances. Taylor Swift as Childes would have been good.

I agree that Yaylor can't act. She wasn't very good in the Valentine movie. I don't even think she acts that well in her music videos. I do like some of her songs though =)
shareI like the casting and the fact that they are all actors/actresses and not country singers; with the exception of Tim McGraw but he didnt play a country singer. If they had gotten real country singers that would have been such a cop out. Theres no real acting if your basically playing yourself with a different name.
