I'm not a huge country music fan. I like some songs here and there and I enjoyed the music in the movie.
shareI am from the Bronx, NY and believe me no one listens to country here. But I loved the music in the movie. I love the way country in general is so down to earth and tells stories from the heart. I found the movie to be really well made as well as the music like you said. Its sad that the movie was not too uplifting and that's why I really think it didn't do so well...
At least the music brings my spirits up...lol
Not a country music fan at all, but I loved the music in this movie including the Tim McGraw/Gwyneth Paltrow song during the credits.
shareAll the music in the film was great! The only disappointment is that there is only one Leighton Meester song on the soundtrack. The credits listed 38 songs and if they could put all of them on a soundtrack, I'd buy it, no matter what the price.

Pure country pop crap...and if if Bo was compared to Townes Van Zandt and he had so much integrity, why were his songs such commercial trash?
