Did anyone actually like the finale?
After I watched the finale I was thinking if that's the best they can do then it is time for it to end.

It wasn't great but it was acceptable. They wrapped things up well enough which is always preferable to canceling with cliffhangers.
shareNo it was awful. Glad this mess is over.
shareno, it was a boring and very mediocre finale...I remember the reaction I had immediately after it ended was "that's it?", it wasn't even the least bit memorable to me. Sometimes it really amazes me how far this once great show has fallen...unfortunately I cannot say it's a "bad" thing that this show has ended, what's even sadder is that the series has ended on a rather low note, I had expected much more from the series finale and it was very disappointing.
shareYes, I really liked the way that they tied everything up and all of the characters were in a good place. The endings for The Good Wife, Dallas, and Seinfeld were awful with no consideration given to fans who had invested years in the show at all. I say kudos to the writers and producers of R&I for getting it right.
shareIt was too rushed. I could have done with one or two more episodes. The Frankie & Nina getting married was the worst. They could have started with "we are moving in together" rather than we are getting married. They just started dating. Even though they knew each other for a few years, they never gave each other a second thought until recently. And Tommy moving back was fine, but they didn't give enough info on him getting legal custody. Did Lydia just give up custody or did he just leave with TJ? & if he's moved to Boston, why wasn't he at the party?
shareI thought it was adequate and left the door open for a series of movie follow-ups on TNT.
Dr Jason Bull: Don't give up on people, they're all we've got.
Some people don't believe in living together before marriage--primarily religious ones. We never told my husband that our daughter moved in with her fiance three months before their wedding because she was selling her condo and wanted it to be ready to be shown at all times!
Tommy wasn't at the party because (a) they didn't want to pay the actor for a brief appearance or (b) Tommy couldn't get a sitter or (c) he had to work.
Boo Hoo! Let me wipe away the tears with my PLASTIC hand!--Lindsey McDonald (Angel)
I liked it.
shareI like that they took a moment to remember Barry Frost, but that's about it.
shareI liked it. A lot of goodbyes and farewells, and ending on a sad, but happy note. Improvement from Castle's ending.
